The Jacksonville Ospreys are partnering with local elementary schools to inspire students to pick up a book and read by participating in our baseball reading program, "Batter Up for Books!"
What is "Batter Up for Books"?
Batter Up for Books combines the excitement of baseball with the joy of reading. It encourages young readers to continue reading and to develop a lifelong love for both literature and the game of baseball.
How does it work?
- Participating schools and teachers can sign up using the form below.
- Schools and teachers decide what their students reading goals are and when they are met, the student will be awarded an Ospreys game ticket to a designated "Batter up for Books" Game night!
- All participants must be between the grades of 2nd and 5th grade.
- All students and schools that participate will receive a free Jacksonville Ospreys bookmark.
- All participating schools will be listed on our "Batter up for Books" Ospreys page.
