The Jacksonville Ospreys are a Collegiate Summer Baseball Team in Jacksonville, North Carolina, home of Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base and New River Air Station. The Ospreys name is inspired by the frequent flyovers of the Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey Aircraft and the Osprey bird that can be found nesting up and down the New River in Jacksonville.
The Jacksonville Ospreys have two equal goals for bringing collegiate summer baseball to Jacksonville; Player Development and Community! We want to host college baseball players in an environment that allows them to sharpen and improve their craft of baseball, character, and contributions to communities they will be involved in through their lives. We also want Jacksonville Ospreys baseball to allow for a greater sense of community by providing a safe and family friendly baseball entertainment venue.
The Jacksonville Ospreys look forward to their 2nd season in 2025 and will be made up of college baseball players from around North Carolina, the United States, and even other Nations! This is the first of its kind in Jacksonville, NC. We bring high quality baseball to Jacksonville while bringing our community together in a fun and friendly setting! We hope to see you at the ballpark!
